Celebrate Fall by hosting your own DIY fall wreath party. It’s a fun and unique way to spend time with friends and you’ll end up with a keepsake you can use every year!
It’s fall, y’all! Ha! That’s what we say here in the South. Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year. It’s right smack in the middle of “omg it’s too hot to survive” and “omg it’s too cold to survive.” The leaves start changing, the weather cools down, the humidity decreases…it’s time to bring out the boots, scarves, and sip on lattes. You know the drill, amiright? What better way to welcome fall than with your own DIY Fall Wreath Party? What what’s the perfect accompaniment? The new Starbucks® Caffé Latte K-Cup® pods, but of course! Seriously, though. Starbucks® and fall go hand-in-hand. I mean, yes, technically Starbucks® rocks year round, but in my opinion, Starbucks® and fall were made for each other.
So of course when I threw my DIY Fall Wreath Party, I had to include the new Caffe Latte K-Cup® pods. Have I mentioned before how much I love my Keurig? I love my Keurig. Why? Because it gives me coffee every morning in a flash, and now, especially, because it gives me a delicious Starbucks® Caffe Lattes in a flash. I’m the typical Southern girl who adorns leggings, boots, scarves, and has a latte in hand. That’s just how my life goes during fall. My absolute favorite thing about the new pods? PUMPKIN flavored! You heard me right, folks. You can now have your very own Pumpkin flavored latte at home in only two steps. First you pour the flavor packet into the cup, and then you brew the Starbucks® Caffe Blend K-Cup® pod in your Keurig brewer. Stir and enjoy your delicious latte! High five!
The pumpkin latte is made with real pumpkin, too. None of the lattes have artificial flavor and they’re made from milk. They’ve also come out with Peppermint Mocha, so all you seasonal latte lovers out there better run and get them while they’re there, as they’re only available for a limited time. However, vanilla, mocha, and caramel are available all year. And guys, they’re delicious. When we tasted them, we all were amazed at how good they were. And believe me, I’ve had some pretty bobo lattes before. Never again. I will never purchase a latte made in the Keurig except from Starbucks® from now on. I’ve found my life-long latte partner.
So. On to the party. How did I throw my DIY Fall Wreath Party? First I gathered all my supplies. I went to my local craft store and bought a bunch of cute fall decorations, but the main things I purchased were wreaths and fake flowers. I got the wreaths made from branches because they scream fall. When picking flowers, you want to make sure you get fall flowers and be on the lookout for extra special things like corn, acorn, pumpkins. It’s fine to have just leaves. But the wreaths will look extra special if they have extra special decorations! Don’t forget the wire cutters, ribbon, and a hot glue gun. If you don’t want to use a hot glue gun, it’s very easy to just stick the wires in the wreath through the branches.
I had three stations for my wreath party: my table, the Keurig station, and the snack station. I made sure to give each station a fall look. They all tied together and were easily accessible. If people wanted to take a break and grab a snack or make a latte, they could! Super easy.
I decorated my table first with a table liner.
Then I decorated the center of the liner with candles, and little fall nicknacks. I put a wreath at every seat, and I went crazy filling the table with flowers and goodies.
This way all people had to do was look close to them and grab whatever they wanted to put in their wreath. There is no right way or wrong way to make a wreath.
Use your imagination. In the end you’ll have a wreath you can put on your door all fall. Put it away after the season ends, and bring it out every year! It’s a great investment and you get to say “Hey, I made that!”
When it’s all over, clean up the excess and leave the table liner with the decorations for a tablescape you can use all fall!
